LivelyStone Apostolic Church - Where Friends, and neighbors, become Family

We Believe...

  • in ONE true and living God; all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere-present who has revealed Himself to us as: Father in creation, Son in redemption and Holy Spirit in regeneration. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Timothy 1:17; 3:16; Colossians 2:9)
  • in the divine inspriation of the scriptures.  The original manuscripts of the Bible being the word of God, given to people and that the Holy Bible, as we have it today is sufficient, in itself, to order our beliefs and lifestyle. It is our final authority for truth. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
  • in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who was born of a virgin, conceived supernaturally of the Holy Ghost. He lived to reveal the true nature of God. As our savior, he was crucified and died on the cross in our place as the supreme sacrifice for sin. He was buried and rose again and is now exalted as King of kings and Lord of lords. He is God manifested in human form and in Him dwells all of God's essence bodily. (Acts 10:38-40, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16)
  • in the original apostolic plan of salvation, proclaimed on the day of Pentecost, the birthday of the church, which includes repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the joyous experience of speaking in other tongues-just as the believers did in the first century. (Luke 24:45-49, Acts 2:37-39; 8:15-17; 10:44-48; 19:1-6; Jude 3)
  • in living a lifestyle of holiness, both inwardly and outwardly, for the Bible says that all who name the name of Christ should depart from sin and separate themselves from the evil practices of this world. A lifestyle of true holiness can only be the result of God's grace working in us. (Ephesians 4:21-24, 2 Timothy 2:19, Hebrews 12:14)
  • In the local and worldwide church which was established by Jesus, Himself, to be a unique and special fellowship for all who believe.  It is the spiritual community ordained for worship, stewardship, and service to God and people, of which every believer must become a part.  It is the body of Christ in the world today, displaying the same miraculous power and spiritual gifts experienced by the early church. (1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:4-16; Hebrews 10:25)
  • In the imminent return of Jesus Christ, when our Lord will come with a trumpet sound and both those who are dead in Christ and those who are still alive will rise to meet Him and be with Him forever. (1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
  • In the Judgement of All, when the wicked will receive their reward and the righteous will receive theirs. We believe in the ultimate triumph of righteousness and in life eternal. (Romans 14:10-12; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10; Revelation 20:12-21:8)
